DM114 Disasters at the Hands of Man 3 credits

This course is designed to teach the students about the causes and consequences of man-made disasters. A large majority of the disaster situations are the result of mankind.  In addition to this, a large portion of the human casualties resulting from disaster situations are also a result of man.  Because of these facts time will be spent learning, and understanding these issues.  A well-educated and trained individual with knowledge and skills for managing such occurrences will be a better asset in the field and can help lessen their impact on society.
